So, I went after work today.
Well. I looked at a Lot of bags - Chloe & Fendi were brilliant. $1,500 a bag, but brilliant - I have to say that the Botkier bags were just the best. They come in great colours and they're made of that supple yet really strong leather that I *love*.
But at Bloomingdales they're $600+.
So! I decided that I'm going to get the turquoise one on ebay!
They had something really similar to the Trigger as well as a large Sasha in stock.
I grabbed them and trotted over to the mirror to have a look. My overall feeling about the Sasha is that I really don't like having little handles hanging on the bag when I'm wearing it over my shoulder. They look silly. It's like getting zip-up boots with laces. Convenient? Yes. Cute? Mmmm...
SO. Loved the trigger-like bag. The two have the same basic dimensions and design. You could fit a large InStyle in one of the outer pockets.
Love. It.
Coach had turquoise and gold bags which were totally hot on and made my eyes pop like Hello! THEN I had a started worrying that the ebay bag was turq/silver because that's waaay to 1980's Navajo Indian - Get me some ankle boots and stone washed jeans STAT! Oh my god - and with those diagonal zippers!?!?!
You can relax though, because I checked when I got home and it is in fact the turq/gold combo.
Now I'm just sitting at home trying to decide if I should drop the $300. Yay cathartic blogging!
I've also discovered that two more people posted Triggers today and it makes me kinda wonder about the black/silver combo. It's really punk and it might just go further Look wise.
I do have a lot of bright clothes...

I like the silver one, BUT I've also seen so many high school girls with silver bags that I can't fully endorse it. If you're spending upwards of $300 on a beautiful bag, I would go with black, to be honest. It's hard to be the voice of fashion reason when clearly you just want the HOTTEST bag (turqoise, hello), but think about it as an investment. The black trigger (sans tassles, agreed) would be a great choice, I think. and it's unique looking, in a basic colour, with subtle yet interesting design features and details.
Oh! Child.
Yeah.
That post had gone on for SO long that by the end there I was letting the details fall by the wayside.
I forgot to mention that I only posted the silver one b/c those photos showed the shape so well. They're actually kind if the only ones that show the shape at all...
Yeah. I'm as un-metallic as you are.
Not Anti-metallic, just metallicly un-inclined.
Exactly. So, have you made any bag decisions?? Keep me in the loop!
AND I just realized I never called you and your interview is TODAY. Babe, I'm so sorry I've been a neglectful friend!! I hope everything goes well today. You will impress them, I am sure!
